Iron Haven Tavern

Bring your elves, dwarves, humans, and all fantasy creatures! Anyone may open this room. You do NOT have to remember any of the information below to RP in the room. =D
In the quaint, little town of Beckton there are foul rumors and shady activities that you would do best to not get involved in less you prefer your head removed from your shoulders. The townsfolk make up a tight knit community that wander about in piss-poor moods keeping to their own aside from the potent stink-eye they share with outsiders. They've grown used to the coming and goings of vagabonds and travelers due to the fact that their two decade old settlement rests in the valley on a major trade route halfway between the Kingdom of Paseon and the Dabagos Ports on the Black Sea. Lord Hennlich is the owner and overseer of the manor in a rather small castle-like mansion separated from all other structures and surrounded by a twelve foot stone wall to ward off the unwanted.
There is one place where everyone is welcome.
The Iron Haven, a large tavern located in the center of town where men and women come to drown their sorrows and forget about the hardships of the day, where strangers become friends, and friends become drunk. Hot food and good drink can be found at all hours. Laughter and conversation ring loud and true behind walls of gray brick and worn wood. Sure it looks as though the roof could cave in at a moments notice and the windows are too small to crawl through if there was ever a fire but it's the place where memories are made and boy does it have quiet a story for those lucky enough to talk to the right people.
How do you find the place? Look for the sun bleached sign hanging outside with carved image of a pegasus upon it and the branded words of the tavern name below. Inside there are round tables, each with four chairs, and toward the far left are two long tables usually dedicated to large parties or superior patrons; such as knights or soldiers. The bar itself is small and situated out of the way toward the back. There's a menu scrawled on parchment near shelves cluttered with tankards and mugs and a busy kitchen in the back out of sight that promises hot but not necessarily fresh food, though don't be the fool to question it. The cook is said to be a nasty fellow when criticized.

A beautiful maple tree with leaves the color of a late summer sunset sat in a gorgeous sea of green and gold grasses surrounded by the ancient Takne Forest. This was Manci's home. It was where she had come into existence, so was born one could say, and it was the only place she'd ever known. Then one day people came and they began to build. Structures popped up so quickly that it left the little wood nymph too scared to reveal herself.
And so she hid. She hid until two large men marched over to her tree with a saw. The threat and bite of the metal teeth were enough to draw her out and it astonished the men to see her. So much so that they stopped what they were doing, to her relief.
After much pleading and negotiating she convinced the Lord of the land to spare her precious tree but things still changed. They built a tavern right on top of it, crowding her, but at least it remained standing. Or so she told herself. As a result of the agreement made with Lord Hennlich she was required to work at the Iron Haven Tavern and still does so to this day. That's where you can find her. So come on in!
