from VirtualSouls on 01/25/2018 06:08 PMNestled in the heart of RhyDin City, Hollow Tavern is the perfect place for the majority of both adventurers and locals alike and all types of creatures. It's a two story building, sporting your usual rooms for rent upstairs to any weary travelers with the bar resting just below.
On the outside, the dark brick walls and windowless facade might make it an easy miss, but there is a sign that hangs out there above the door, illuminated by a single light, which reads Hollow Tavern, letting anyone that glances up know there's another place to drink and get away from it all.
If anyone gets the urge to cross the threshold and go inside, they'll find themselves in a warm, clean, well lit room with an open floor plan. An assortment of tables, surrounded by chairs, are spread across cherrywood floors, and booths line the walls. In the back, and sitting directly across from the front door, there's the bar. It's a large one that spans practically the entire wall, with a door behind it that leads into the kitchen, and two tvs, usually off, on the wall to either side of that. The aroma of chicken wings and pizza hang in the air, and there's a noticeably safe ambience, making for an overall pleasant experience. Since this place supports the Nexus, there's a portal situated in the left wall, opposite the staircase, that all types of people walk through at any given time. The shimmering, rippling violet magic is pretty hard to miss, especially with the ornately twisted silver metal trim that surrounds it, creating the doorway to other realms and worlds.
Take note, on the wall behind the bar there's a sign with some rules, which reads: If you have weapons, leave them in your car. If you don't have a car, take your chances with the sidewalk. Any urges to kick someone's ass? You know where the door is, and there's more of an audience outside, too. Found a one night stand? Rooms are upstairs. ( Take it to dm's. Keep it respectable, please.) If you like shiny things and can't keep your hands to yourself then you might want to go to another bar or else you may not walk out of this one the same way you walked in. Most of all?
